Fluorometers are important tools for modern lab diagnostics that incorporate fluorescent markers, such as those used for DNA PCR tests.  We have developed a mobile fluorometer that connects to an Android phone and is also powered by the Android phone via USB, thus requiring no Bluetooth or batteries.
